Kotomi X Stranger Things

Windle was delighted to work with Wow! Stuff on the development of a charming collection of characters for the Stranger Things property as part of the wider KOTOMI range. We designed and illustrated a series of teddy bear characters inspired by some of the show’s most recognisable personalities, reimagining each one in a distinctive, playful vector style while retaining the key visual details that made the original characters instantly recognisable. Each bear was developed alongside a selection of relevant props and accessories, adding personality, humour and storytelling to the designs. From the initial character concepts through to the finished vector artwork, the project was a fantastic opportunity to combine detailed illustration with creative character development, resulting in a fun and highly distinctive collection that was a real pleasure to work on.
